This will all depend on whether or not your new spot is available or open that day. On some occasions, settlement can be delayed and you may not be able to move in right away.

Also, if you require a fair amount of items to be moved, this can take six to eight hours to load all of your belongings. Of course, we will communicate with you during the planning period leading up to the move and ensure that all expectations are clear on how much time will be required to complete your moving service.

A deposit of 50% will be payable when you book with us. Balance is then due within 24 hours of the uplift date. Full payment must be received prior to scheduled delivery date, or on completion of the job.

Whilst as much notice as possible would be ideal, we appreciate that situations can happen beyond your control that may interfere or halt your moving plans. If you need to reschedule another time slot with us, there will be no fee applicable. Should you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you may unfortunately forfeit your deposit.

Of course, we have all the moving boxes and other materials that you may need for your move which we can arrange to be dropped off to you so that you can take whatever you require. Whilst we will charge you for any products you need, any materials that aren’t used in the moving process will be deducted from your invoice.

Yes you can. Here are a few tips that we would suggest should you choose this option:

  • Wrap all items separately before placing in a box.
  • Place crushed up paper (or towels/linen), five cm thick on the bottom of the carton, between each item place more crushed paper (or linen) and make sure all boxes are full when packed, otherwise, they will crush when being stacked.
  • Heavy items should be placed into a smaller box (book box).
  • Label every box, clearly indicating its contents and the room it will be unpacked for.
  • Mark boxes ‘FRAGILE’ and ‘HEAVY’ as appropriate.
  • Draw arrows to indicate if a box needs to be stored upright

On the day of the move, have all access areas clear and all items to be moved packed and ready to go. That way our staff can be most efficient in getting you to your new home as quickly as possible. Of course, if you don’t have the time or the inclination, we would be only too happy to do it for you. 

This service is charged on an hourly rate basis.
